Hamilton and Rosberg double up in Bahrain with another 1-2 in practice for Mercedes
Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes made it a clean sweep on Friday, as the 2008 champion once again topped free practice in Bahrain, ahead of his team-mate Nico Rosberg, securing a second consecutive 1-2 for the Brackley-based outfit. Hamilton, quickest in FP1, continued his fine start to the weekend, as he topped the time sheets in the first twilight session held at the Bahrain International Circuit this weekend with a best time of 1:34.325, set early in the session.
Nico Rosberg was forced to play second fiddle to Hamilton on Friday for a second consecutive session, ending the hour long practice with a best lap four tenths shy of his Mercedes team-mate.
