Palmer wins tense sprint race
Getty Images Enlarge Jolyon Palmer won a tense GP2 sprint race in Bahrain on Sunday ahead of Simon Trummer and Julian Leal. The three got ahead of Felipe Nasr at the start who got too much wheelspin from pole position and slipped down the field on the run to Turn 1. Trummer led for the first lap but was beaten into Turn 1 on lap two by Palmer, who held the position for the rest of the race. However, in was a close race with less than 1.5s covering the top three for most of the race. Nevertheless, Palmer, who finished third in Saturday's feature race, held on for the lead.
