Rookies take centre stage as in-season testing returns

The first in-season test of the 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship begins in Bahrain on Tuesday, with a number of rookies set to take on driving duties during the two-day session.McLaren reserve Stoffel Vandoorne gets his first F1 outing, fresh from his GP2 debut win at Sakhir at the weekend; 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 champion Robin Frijns will drive for Caterham; and 18-year-old Sergey Sirotkin will be at the wheel for Sauber.His Tuesday test should allow Sirotkin to complete the mileage needed to qualify for his FIA Super Licence.
