– Nico Rosberg set the quickest time and kept Mercedes on top on Tuesday during day one of the post-Bahrain Grand Prix test. Rosberg, who had to settle for the runners-up spot on Sunday behind team-mate, Lewis Hamilton, had a trouble-free day at the Sakhir Circuit, completing 121 laps in total. His best effort was a 1:35.697, which put him 0.367 seconds up on Nico Hülkenberg's Force India. Fernando Alonso meanwhile took third for Ferrari, and like Hülkenberg, he did almost 70 tours.
