Ex-Force India tester Calado ready for WEC assault with Ferrari

Former Force India test driver and GP2 title challenger James Calado is ready for his first season in the World Endurance Championship with Ferrari works team AF Corse after failing to secure a single seater drive. Calado has, like many drivers, sought refuge in the WEC as an alternative to Formula 1. Mark Webber has joined Porsche's LMP1 programme for 2014 after retiring from F1, whilst Bruno Senna and Nick Heidfeld are two other drivers to have found success in the championship. Caterham driver Kamui Kobayashi spent a year with AF Corse in the WEC last year before returning to F1, and Calado has arrived as his replacement.
