– Gene Haas, whose American Formula 1 entry was recently accepted following the FIA's latest tender, says he ideally hopes to join the grid in 2015, but admits a decision over an entry year has not yet been made. Speaking in a special press conference to discuss his new venture, Haas – the joint owner of the NASCAR title-winning Stewart-Haas Racing – suggested that a starting season will become clear within the next month. Haas also play down fears that the team could fail to get off the ground at all, as was the case with USF1.
