Montoya brands Haas 'mad' for basing team in US

Former F1 driver turned NASCAR and IndyCar driver, Juan Pablo Montoya, has branded Gene Haas 'mad' for basing his team in the United States. Whilst the Colombian supports the idea of an American team joining the grid, he believes it must be based in Europe. "If he wants to build [the team] here in the States I think it's completely mad," said Montoya during the Long Beach GP weekend. "You can't even call it mad because it makes no sense. "You are not going to get people from England to move to Charlotte."
