Maldonado cops blame for practice shunt

Lotus F1 Team Pastor Maldonado has accepted the blame after crashing out of the second practice session at the Chinese Grand Prix. It was not a good Friday for the Venezuelan as he suffered several off-track excursions before his error upon entering the pit lane. Maldonado slid wide entering the pit lane and crashed into the barriers. "The incident this afternoon was a mistake from my side; I was a little optimistic on the entry to the pits, and the run off is quite short, but that's how it is," he said.
