Hamilton could have gone faster

Sutton Images Enlarge Lewis Hamilton is convinced he could have taken pole position by an even bigger margin at the Chinese Grand Prix had he not made a mistake in the middle of the lap. Hamilton was untouchable in the wet conditions, qualifying over 0.5s quicker than his nearest rival Daniel Ricciardo and over 1.2s quicker than his team-mate Nico Rosberg. He put most of his advantage down to his Mercedes car and said he could have gone even quicker without a mistake under acceleration coming out of Turn 10.
