Webber makes great start to WEC season at Silverstone

Former Formula 1 driver Mark Webber has made a great start to his career in the World Endurance Championship after finishing third in the 6 Hours of Silverstone yesterday. Webber, who piloted the #20 Porsche LMP1 car alongside Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley, reached the podium behind the two Toyota cars. Former BAR and Super Aguri driver Anthony Davidson claimed his second straight win in the series alongside ex-Toro Rosso man Sebastien Buemi and Nicolas Lapierre. The #20 Porsche finished two laps down on the leaders, marking a great result for the German marque on its return to LMP1 in 2014 as defending world champions Audi saw both of its cars retire.
