Changes introduced at Ferrari factory

– Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has introduced a number of changes at the marque's Maranello factory with a view to "stepping up a gear" after the opening four races of the 2014 Formula 1 campaign. Although Fernando Alonso was able to secure a podium at the recent Chinese Grand Prix, previous challenging races have left the outfit fourth in the standings, more than 100 points adrift of current pace-setters Mercedes. Prior to the Shanghai event, Stefano Domenicali resigned as team boss and was replaced by Marco Mattiacci.
