Stanford to work for Williams heritage

Getty Images Enlarge Former-Williams race team manager Dickie Stanford has been appointed as general manager of Williams Heritage. Stanford stood down from his position in the race team in March this year, with the team saying it was looking to find him new role in the organisation. He will now head a new division of Williams that oversees the maintenance and public demonstration of the team's historic Formula One cars. "A team of our longevity has many historic assets that need to be cherished and preserved for future generations to enjoy," Sir Frank Williams said.
