Lewis Hamilton stayed ahead for Mercedes come second practice as he dispatched team-mate Nico Rosberg by just under half a second to remain quickest. Rosberg managed to recover from his FP1 troubles to go second, a further half second ahead of the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo. The top three were well ahead of those behind as Fernando Alonso's 1:27.121 was over 1.5 seconds down on Hamilton's leading lap to suggest Mercedes have extended their already mammoth advantage.
