Lotus F1 Team Romain Grosjean reckons that there is strong pace in the Lotus E22, but expressed his frustration after problems scuppered his running in Spain. The Frenchman suffered a couple of off-track excursions and ended his session prematurely after reporting problems under braking. Grosjean ended the day down in 17th place. But Grosjean remains encouraged by the pace shown by team-mate Pastor Maldonado, who set the ninth fastest time.
