Button downplays first practice time

– McLaren racer Jenson Button has downplayed his pace during the opening free practice session on Friday in Spain and reckons the team needs to improve the balance of the MP4-29 before they can battle their rivals. Button was second quickest to former team-mate Lewis Hamilton during the first session and ended the day in seventh place, behind current team-mate Kevin Magnussen. "In this afternoon's warmer temperatures, it was harder for us to get the car working properly," he said.
