Hamilton obliterates the opposition to secure pole at Spain, as Vettel’s gremlins return

Lewis Hamilton has once again obliterated the opposition to secure pole position ahead of tomorrow’s Spanish Grand Prix, whilst reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel once again incurred mechanical gremlins which will see him start 10th. Nico Rosberg qualified a strong second, with Daniel Ricciardo the best of the rest in third. Once again the Circuit de Catalunya was bathed in glorious sunshine as the qualifying hour drew closer, with the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg looking clear favourites to lock-out the front-row once again.
