Grosjean, Lotus on the board despite issues

Romain Grosjean and Lotus are finally off the mark in the F1 World Championship standings after notching up an eighth place finish in the Spanish Grand Prix, despite the Frenchman contending with power unit issues during the race. Well positioned to score his first points of what has been a trying season for the Lotus F1 Team thus far, Grosjean got underway in fifth place and maintained that position for the opening half of the race, comfortably ahead of the chasing Ferraris.
