Horner: Encouraging signs for Red Bull

Even though their lead driver finished almost 50 seconds behind the leaders, Red Bull believe they are closing the gap to the pace-setting Mercedes duo. For the fourth consecutive race, Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg secured a one-two finish for the Brackley outfit in Spain last week. Starting from third on the grid in Barcelona, Daniel Ricciardo claimed his first podium for Red Bull, with his team-mate Sebastian Vettel finishing another place further behind after carving through the field having started in 15th place.
