– Former Toro Rosso Formula 1 driver Jaime Alguersuari and 2013 GP2 Series vice-champion Sam Bird will race for the Virgin in the inaugural 2014/2015 FIA Formula E Championship, it has been announced. Alguersuari, who spent two and half seasons at the pinnacle of the sport, before being dropped from the Red Bull programme at the end of 2011, is eager to get back racing.
