No reason to cancel Russian GP - FIA

The Russian Grand Prix is set to take place around the venue of this year's Winter Olympics Marussia Enlarge The FIA currently has no plans to cancel the Russian Grand Prix, despite the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The inaugural Russian Grand Prix is set to take place on October 12 in Sochi, but doubt was cast over the future of the race when Moscow annexed Crimea from Ukraine in March. However, FIA president Jean Todt was quoted by Reuters as saying there was currently "nothing that should change the running of the calendar".
