Red Bull Racing's reserve driver Sebastien Buemi got his first taste of the latest generation of Formula 1 car during testing at the Circuit de Catalunya, even if both his and the team's day would be interrupted by a gearbox failure. The Swiss driver, who started 55 F1 races between 2009 and 2011 for Scuderia Toro Rosso, jumped into the Red Bull RB10 for the first time in Spain to help develop the progress made by race drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel during the Spanish Grand Prix.
