Mattiacci denies Newey approach

Marco Mattiacci has denied inviting Adrian Newey to join Ferrari - but that doesn't mean the team didn't make an approach. Earlier this month rumours emerged claiming that Ferrari were once again chasing the Red Bull technical guru in a bid to turn their fortunes around. The Brit, though, released a brief statement on Thursday, saying he remains "committed to Red Bull for the foreseeable future."
