Rosberg: Not the way I wanted it to go

Nico Rosberg has said 'sorry' to team-mate Lewis Hamilton after his error at the end of qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix brought out the yellow flags and scuppered any chance the Briton had of challenging. “No, definitely not,” Rosberg replied, when it was put to him that was not really the way he wanted to take his second pole position in a row in Monaco and the sixth of his F1 career. “I thought it was over,” added the German. “But of course in the end I am very happy it worked out.” Quizzed further on the incident, which has divided the paddock – between those saying he did it deliberately to others who said it was just a mistake as he was pushing hard – Rosberg...
