Nico Rosberg secured a controversial pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix after setting the fastest time in the top 10 shoot-out. The German driver made a mistake at Mirabeau on his final lap, bringing out the yellow flags and costing his team-mate a chance of taking the top spot.
