Renault says this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix will be a 'very good test' of how far the French manufacturer has come since winter testing. Remi Taffin, head of trackside operations at Renault Sport F1, said it will be their first opportunity to see where they are compared to rivals Mercedes and Ferrari, as the upgrade process will be completed at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The track is one of the most demanding on the power-unit due to several long straights and flat-out sections.
