Tickets for the inaugural Russian Grand Prix have gone on sale with more than 45,000 tickets on offer. Russian will host its first-ever Formula 1 grand prix on 12 October 2014 with a track having been built at the site of the Winter Olympics venue in Sochi. Tickets went on sale on Saturday with a starting price of 5,000 rubles (£85) for a three-day ticket in the General Admission area around the Bolshoi Ice Dome. As for the temporary grandstand tickets, those range from 11,000 to 17,000 rubles.
