Bird: Merc W05 can go quicker

Former Mercedes Development Driver Sam Bird believes the team are yet to unleash the full potential of the W05 this season such is their advantage.The Silver Arrows have been the class of the field thus far in 2014 winning all six races, finishing one, two every time both cars have reached the chequered flag and locking out the frontrow on three occasions. With such an advantage already, Bird's warning sounds rather ominous for the chasing pack and any hopes they have of closing the gap.
