Horner confirms Red Bull and Renault relationship will continue into 2015

Christian Horner has confirmed that Red Bull has no intention of ending its successful partnership with engine supplier Renault, despite rumours to the contrary. Strain has been placed on the winning partnership between the Milton Keynes-based outfit and the French firm this season following Renault’s early season struggles since the introduction of its new 2014 power unit, with reports that Red Bull could switch to a rival engine supplier from next year. However, the Red Bull boss has rubbished those rumours, insisting that his team will indeed continue its relationship with Renault into 2015. “It is 100 per cent next year we will be powered by a Renault engine,” Horner told the...
