Kimi Raikkonen's running on Friday was hampered by a problem in FP1 but he praised Ferrari for its recovery in the afternoon session. Raikkonen was only able to complete 15 laps in the morning, but a much more productive second session saw him finish FP2 with the fourth fastest time.
