Renault 'struggling' for performance

– Renault has admitted that it is "struggling for overall performance" after the opening day of practice for the Canadian Grand Prix.A massive 13 of the top 15 cars in Friday afternoon's second practice session were powered by either Mercedes or Ferrari engines, as French brand Renault continues to work through its early-season troubles."It was a difficult day," said Rémi Taffin, Head of Track Operations."We knew that the long straights would give us some headaches since the long periods of full throttle and emphasis on top speed do not play to the strengths of our power unit."We still have a gap to the Mercedes in front and we can see by the times that...
