Ricciardo snatches win in Canada thriller

Daniel Ricciardo took his maiden F1 victory by passing Nico Rosberg in the final three laps of a thrilling Canadian Grand Prix. Having been leading comfortably, both Mercedes cars hit trouble and Rosberg was down on power but holding off Sergio Perez for numerous laps with both Red Bulls and Felipe Massa behind. With Ricciardo passing Perez five laps from the end he then reeled in the ailing Mercedes and passed using DRS to take the win. The race ended under the safety car as Perez and Massa collided spectacularly at the start of the final lap, with both cars spearing in to the barrier at Turn 1 at high speed.
