Nico Rosberg says it is a "bit strange" that his corner-cutting moment in Montreal even made it before the stewards.
With team-mate Lewis Hamilton right on his rear wing as they tussled for the lead in Canada, Rosberg made a mistake at the final chicane and cut the corner.
The Mercedes driver undoubtedly gained a small advantage over his team-mate as the gap widened, however, has revealed that he almost immediately slowed to bring it back down.
Despite that the incident went before the stewards, who ruled that Rosberg had done nothing wrong. He was, however, given a warning.
Speaking about the incident, the Mercedes driver told Autosport: "I didn't think anything of it....
