Alonso encouraged by Red Bull win

Scuderia Ferrari Fernando Alonso believes that Red Bull's victory at the Canadian Grand Prix shows that Ferrari must not give up on their 2014 season. Alonso finished the race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in sixth place, a result which leaves him in fourth place in the championship. The Spaniard reckons that Ferrari was fortunate to even score points. "Looking at the wild final stages of the race, we picked up some “lucky” points, but we still can’t be happy with where we finished as our aim was to do better than this," he said.
