Ferrari will catch up with Red Bull - Alonso

Sutton Images Enlarge Fernando Alonso is in little doubt that Ferrari will catch Red Bull this season and wants to be in a position to capitalise should Mercedes falter again. Alonso is fourth in the drivers' standings, but his Ferrari is currently off the pace of the Red Bulls and at the Canadian Grand Prix he finished 14 seconds behind race winner Daniel Ricciardo. However, Alonso is confident Ferrari can close that gap to put itself in the running for podiums and second place in the constructors' championship.
