Schumacher awakes from coma, leaves hospital

Seven time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher has awoken from his coma, more than six months after a skiing accident left him with life threatening brain injuries. Sabine Kehm, his manager who acted as a spokesperson since Schumacher was admitted to hospital confirmed that the German is awake and now set to continue what is expected to be a very long recovery. “Michael has left the CHU Grenoble to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. He is not in a coma anymore,” Kehm confirmed on Monday morning.
