Silverstone confirms Fans’ Thursday plans
Silverstone has finally revealed its plans for the proposed 'Fans Thursday' event that will kick-off the 2014 British Grand Prix weekend over 3-6 July). The day, which forms part of the many celebrations organised to commemorate the circuit's 50th grand prix, will give fans a number of added attractions ahead of what could be a pivotal race in the 2014 championship battle. For the first time ever, Silverstone has been given permission to open the F1 pit-lane to fans on the Thursday, with all three-day ticketholders gaining unprecedented access and views into the garages, where teams will be busy preparing for the weekend ahead.
