Hamilton backed to win Austrian Grand Prix

– Lewis Hamilton has been backed by GPUpdate.net readers to win this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix.The Mercedes driver picked up a majority 42 per cent share in the latest website poll, placing him 20 per cent ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg, who currently holds a 22-point lead in the championship standings.Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen tied on eight per cent, just ahead of Canadian Grand Prix winner Daniel Ricciardo (six per cent) and the Australian's Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel (five per cent).Friday's opening practice session at the Red Bull Ring gets underway at 10am local time (GMT +2)
