Rosberg sets the pace in first practice at the Red Bull Ring
Nico Rosberg finished the first practice session of the Austrian Grand Prix weekend at the top of the timesheets, as Formula 1 returned to the country and the Red Bull Ring for the first time since 2003.
It was a busy start to practice one. Felipe Massa, Kamui Kobayashi, Max Chilton and Kevin Magnussen were the first drivers to take to the 2.688 mile circuit, with the Mercedes duo being setting the opening lap times.
Marcus Ericsson's weekend got off to a difficult start after he was forced to stop his Caterham CT05 at the exit of the first corner with a mechanical problem early in the 90-minute session.
