Lewis Hamilton was the fastest man during second practice in Austria as he bolted on the supersoft tyres to dip below the one minute ten barrier. He and team-mate Nico Rosberg, second quickest, were the only men into the 1:09s, with Hamilton almost half a second quicker than the German, whilst third-placed Fernando Alonso was over nine tenths slower. The Williams duo of Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa were fourth and fifth quickest respectively as Mercedes-power reigned supreme once again.
