Massa storms to pole position for the Austrian Grand Prix

Felipe Massa will start tomorrow's Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring from pole position after setting the fastest time in qualifying. His team-mate Valtteri Bottas completed the front row, with Nico Rosberg in third and Lewis Hamilton down in ninth after a late spin. Under cloudy skies, the first segment of qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix kicked off. It was a relatively quiet start, with Daniil Kvyat, Jean-Eric Vergne and Nico Hulkenberg being the only drivers to take to the circuit in the opening minute.
