McLaren suffered mixed fortunes during the Austrian Grand Prix, with Kevin Magnussen finishing in seventh place and Jenson Button taking the chequered flag in 11th. Button said the team chose a 'different' strategy for the 71-lap race, but the Brit admitted that he failed to make it work. The 2009 world champion lost several positions at the first corner after running wide. He completed a long first stint on the prime Pirelli tyre, before pitting for a fresh set.
