Dennis: Button needs to try harder

Although stating that "no one should ever feel threatened", Ron Dennis has urged Jenson Button to "do his bit" to help McLaren move forward. Earlier this month, Telegraph Sport reported that McLaren are considering Fernando Alonso for next season while also opening "very tentative dialogue with Lewis Hamilton." The newspaper added that is Button's career with the Woking team that is on the line. And although McLaren CEO Dennis has not confirmed the report, he has told Button that he needs to "try harder" against rookie team-mate Kevin Magnussen.
