Nine ex-F1 drivers to race in Formula E

Nine former Formula One drivers have been named to race for various teams in the inaugural Formula E championship, which will begin later this year. The new series, which will have cars run purely by electrical power, will feature ten races in the streets of cities around the world with the first race scheduled on September 13 in Beijing, China. The championship too will feature gimmicks like Fanboost, which will allow fans to vote for their favourite drivers to provide them additional power in the races.
