Gary Anderson receives honorary doctorate for contribution to motorsport

Gary Anderson has received an honorary doctorate from the University of Ulster today for his outstanding contribution to motorsport over the past four decades. Anderson worked his way up the ranks in motorsport before eventually becoming technical director at Jordan Grand Prix. He also spent time with Jackie Stewart's team, and in recent years has become a leading broadcaster specialising the technical side of the sport. Currently, he works for Autosport and Formula One Management, and is also involved with commentary for the GP3 Series.
