Perez – drivers must accept and adapt to standing restarts

Force India’s Sergio Perez believes that Formula One drivers must simply accept the introduction of standing restarts, and learn to adapt to the new challenge for the good of the sport. The World Motorsport Council confirmed this week that standing restarts will be introduced following the deployment of the safety car from 2015 onwards, a decision that has prompted outcry amongst fans of the sport, as well as negative response from drivers.
