Ferrari confirms Räikkönen fit for Germany

– Ferrari has confirmed that Kimi Räikkönen will be fit for the next round of the season in Germany, after medical checks in the wake of his heavy accident at the British Grand Prix cleared him of any serious injury.The Finn, who had run wide at the exit of The Loop on the opening lap of the race, jolted to the right when attempting to rejoin the track, sending him straight into the trackside guardrail and back across the circuit.He limped away from the scene, which led to the race being red flagged for more than an hour, and was taken to the Silverstone circuit's Medical Centre for examinations, where anything more than bruising was ruled out.Ferrari published a note explaining...
