Caterham raced for the first time under new management after the departure of Tony Fernandes earlier this week, with Kamui Kobayashi being able to get his way out of trouble to be the sole car to make it to the finish. Teammate Marcus Ericsson, however ended up retiring after damaging the left front suspension of his car after the restart.
