Ericsson blames kerbs for British GP exit

Caterham raced for the first time under new management after the departure of Tony Fernandes earlier this week, with Kamui Kobayashi being able to get his way out of trouble to be the sole car to make it to the finish. Teammate Marcus Ericsson, however ended up retiring after damaging the left front suspension of his car after the restart. Swede Ericsson, who got a great start, making his way up to 16th, but hit the kerbs on turn 6, ending what could have been a solid result for the rookie: 'It’s a shame that we had a DNF today as, even though quali didn’t go to plan, the weekend for me has been ok and I wanted a good race today.
