Exhaust problem ended Maldonado's race
SILVERSTONE, 6th July 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Lotus say an exhaust problem ended Pastor Maldonado's race on the 49th lap. The Enstone based team weren’t sure of the exact cause and couldn’t say for sure whether or not it was caused by his collision with Esteban Gutierrez earlier in the race. After the race the stewards decided Gutierrez was at fault and gave him a three place grid penalty for the upcoming German Grand Prix.
