Rosberg's momentum, podium and points streak ends

Nico Rosberg's healthy lead of 29 points, worth more than a race win, was slashed down to a paltry four following his retirement and title-rival Lewis Hamilton's victory at the British Grand Prix on Sunday. The German retired his car with gearbox problems just after half distance on lap 29, having led from the start, winding up the upper hand that he held over teammate Hamilton in the last three races. 'I never want to see a teammate fall behind - I always want to battle it out,' said Hamilton, who inherited the lead.
